MessageSetNull Method (String, Int32)

Changes the the value of the field identified by fieldName and index to NULL.

	string fieldName,
	int index
)

Parameters

fieldName
Type: SystemString
The name of the field to be modified.
index
Type: SystemInt32
The occurence index of the field.
Exceptions
ExceptionCondition
InvalidOperationException If the Message has no Layout, or if the required field is not defined in the Layout of the Message.
IndexOutOfRangeException If index is less than "0" (zero) or greater-equal to the number of occurrences of the field, as indicated by the Occurs property.
Remarks
A field value is said to be NULL if it's first character is the special character NO-DATA (0x1A).
